Microfiber Pigment Printing Towel

Microfiber pigment printing towel is a very economical printed towel and it is widely used method for printing on microfiber fabrics. Pigment printing instructions

Pigment printing is direct printing with pigment. This process is usually called dry printing, to distinguish it from wet printing (or dye printing).  

By comparing the hardness of the printed part and unprinted part on the same fabric, we can distinguish between pigment printing from dye printing. The pigment printed area is a little harder and maybe a little thicker than the unprinted area. If the fabric is printed with dyestuff, there is no obvious difference in hardness between the printed part and the unprinted part.  

Compared with light color, dark pigment printing is likely to feel harder and less flexible. When checking a fabric with pigment print, be sure to check all colors, because there may be both dye and pigment on the same fabric. White color pigment is also used for printing; this factor should not be ignored.  

Pigment printing is the cheapest printing method in printing production, because it is relatively simple and requires the least technology, which usually does not need steam and water washing. The pigment has bright and rich colors and can be used for all textile fibers. Their light fastness and dry cleaning fastness are good or even excellent, so they are widely used in printing towels and cleaning towels. In addition, the pigment will hardly produce large color difference on different batches of fabrics, and it is very good in covering ability of the base color during the overprint.  

With continuous washing or dry cleaning, the pigment printing will gradually fade and the color will become lighter. This is due to the continuous rotation and stirring during the cleaning process, which makes the resin adhesive gradually fall off. Generally after 20-30 times of cleaning, this kind of printed cloth will appear obvious fading phenomenon. The color fastness of the fabric is improved because of the application of resin and silicon softener in the finishing process. It should be noted that dark colors are more likely to fade than light colors.  

The pigment makes the printed part of the fabric feel hard, which is not obvious in light colors, but very prominent in dark colors. Pigment fabrics are not particularly wear-resistant, especially in dark colors.
